A DREAM COME TRUE

Finally! I got my new blog site. I have been dreaming to have one wherein I can share my insights and experiences which can inspire others. Writing and blogging for me is a passion that no one can ever take it away from a person. This is one of the avenues that one may reach big groups of people without spending too much time to convey what you wanted to share.

Who is "ME"

To begin with, I would like to introduce myself to you. I am Ermalyn, most of my friends call me “Erma” and “Erms” but my close relatives and immediate family call me “Malyn”. 

 I am just a simple girl who was raised in old ways. A very typical Filipina who valued my folk’s teachings but has an extraordinary personality as one of my friends told me. I am an open-minded person yet not liberal. I am willing to talk anything under the sun but not ready to put into practice. I wanted to have more friends but kept only few ones.


 Are you confused who really am? Me too. I do not know what type of personality I have but I am perfectly sure that I am feeding the personality which avoids hurting people in all ways.  

I am currently a law student of St. Thomas More School of Law and Business in Tagum City. I joined in this school by the second semester of the school year because I started my law school last June 2012 at Ateneo de Davao University. It was very hard for me to penetrate in the lifestyle of the students around because I am used to be just a countryside girl who has seldom experiences in socializing with very “sosyal” people. Probably this is one of the reasons why I was not able to survive with my previous school as I had a very poor performance in academes. I had my degree course at University of Southeastern Philippines and had been actively involved in a student publication as one of the writers.

Why I WRITE?

Simply, because this is my passion and I missed writing so much. I made this blog to fulfill my passion: sharing my insights and experiences through writing and hopefully influence other people in a good way. For me, it is not enough that we have the knowledge of a thing. We should share it to others in our own very simple ways to become an effective citizen of this world. Our own experiences are our best teachers; however experiences of the others are our best learning.   

So WHAT?

My blog is all about laws, may it be the Law of the Land or the Law of God. As a law student, I wanted to impart my experiences how we could live life according to the boundaries that laws created to maintain the peace and order we longed to have. I chose the title of my blog “ Law at Work” because I wanted to incorporate all, if possible, the human activities with laws and rules. Each activity has its own rules and we have to play with it to enjoy the life to its fullest. 
  

As what I have mentioned above, I am willing to talk anything under the sun, so expect any genre of my blogs.
